floor sanding/re-finishing

we sanded this floor back to brand new again, thr floor had bad scratches,  black wet patches from the cat, and chips from wear and tear, all these issues were taken out of the floor and it is brand new condition again.....

painting and feature wallpapering

water damage

this old building in Dublin city had a fairly bad roof issue for some time, the water had penetrated the shell of the building and the salts from the plaster known as efflorescence has pushed the paint from the wall all over and created a pretty bad stain, we scraped it all off,primed the entire wall using a shellac primer and skim coated over the whole wall pretty much, back to normal, always treat roof leaks before trying to repair the walls and ensure they are fully dried before starting, it can be a messy job so give me a call if you have an issue like this and need it fixed PROPERLY.....

exterior gate restoration

here we have very badly water/UV damaged teak gates, you can see in the first picture i have sanded the rotten parts right back to make good the timber, unfortunately these gates were too badly damages to apply a clear coat and restore them to new, so I had to use a new colour to bring them to this level of quality using sadolin extra durable exterior wood stain, good product.....

exterior painting

re-painted these very old and weathered sash windows, they had been badly worn as they are near the coast, paint work gets more worn near the sea as winds are higher thus pelting rain of them more than a typical property, never the less they are back in good shape again for a nice few years, exterior timber work needs to maintained or it could suffer from rot, it is a good idea to keep an eye on your windows and not let them become exposed, the last thing you need is to have to replace them.....

painting/decorating

a full renovation done in this property, new floors put in by another contractor, then we came behind them making good the walls/ceilings/woodwork, all brand new flooring and not a drop of paint on any of it, these colors are from the crown range.

exterior painting/repairwork

repainted this house as you can see there was quite a bit of exposed render,this was from poorly primed fresh plasterwork during the building of the property, if you look closly you can see we scraped all the loose material and then primed it with a stabilising solution before we painted it, then repainted the rest of the house, colours are from the dulux range.

commercial shopfront repaint

repainted these two fronts along the keys in dublin city, nice vibrant colours to catch the eye, very good for drawing attension to your business

interior painting/kitchen unit painting

re-paint of this interior using colurs from the farrow and ball range, also changed the colour of the kitchen and presses, prees colour is f+b dimity

exterior property maintenance

scraped and sanded these badly worn windows/panels on a apartment complex in lucan, the weather had badly affected most of them,we used sadolin extra durable shellac coating and took the right preperation steps to ensure long life span to save the customer having to spend their maintenance money on this for a long long time...very protective coating this gear i would highly recommend it for exterior timber preservation. I also hand painted the road signs into each area of the estate to freshen them up they looked terrible....

repainted the exterior side of these sash windows, they had been getting alot of weather this side of the property, its very important to paint these correctly otherwise the problem will re-occur 1-2 years down the line, they are time consuming but finished product is really nice.

these rationel windows had suffered from bad uv damage and weathering, with the correct steps and preperation we can transform stained doors/windows to be painted any colour, these were actually like getting brand new windows a complete change, and also the front gate was varnished and is now painted, colours are from the colortrend range

external painting

re-painted these two houses side by side using santex exterior coating, best product on the market for external works and the only paint I like to use outside, also restored a friends door back to new again after they got thier windows changed.....
